COVID-19 Response Efforts

I am reaching out on behalf of the entire Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort Family to assure you that the health and safety of our guests and staff are of the utmost importance. Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). While the risks and long-term impacts are hard to quantify, we are committed to doing everything possible to make sure that our Resort is fully prepared and taking all necessary precautions.

What We Are Doing Differently
We have adopted several policies and procedures, following recommendations from the New Mexico Governor, NM Dept of Health, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and want you to feel at ease when visiting with us. Below are some of the precautionary response measures that we are taking to ensure your health and safety:

·        NM Safe Certified - Covid-Safe Training completed

·        Elevated cleaning and sanitation protocols

·        Ongoing training for our staff

·        Contactless check in process (email or call our office for details)

·        Posting informational content regarding recommended hand washing procedures in restrooms, offices and common areas to increase awareness of simple prevention methods

·        Adjustment of team schedules and working arrangements to promote social distancing

·        Encourage all guests to social distancing of 6 feet and to not congregate in groups larger than the current State Regulations and the guidelines of the CDC

·        Masks are required per the CDC’s guidelines

·        Hand sanitizing stations have been added within common areas

 Flexibility In Your Travel Plans
We believe in responsible and safe traveling and EB RV Resort continues to welcome travelers with our established operational commitment to care. We understand the need for increased flexibility with travel planning right now. As a courtesy to our guests, we are waiving the 7-day notice to cancel reservations. We are giving our guests 2 options:

1. We can hold your payment as a credit good for six months or longer in reference to closures with the COVID-19.

2. Or there is a $25.00 plus tax cancellation fee.

 RV Community
A unique benefit of road travel is that you choose where you go and the vehicle of transportation is your own and is entirely self-contained. You can eat, shower and sleep all within the confines of your own space. While it is important to take the necessary precautions and follow proper protocols at this time, RVing is still a lifestyle that can continue to be enjoyed.
